LOCAL TOBACCONIST – YOUR BEST FRIEND

Alright, you're fairly new to all this cigar stuff right? You had a bud give you a cigar and maybe you liked it and maybe you didn't.  What do you do next?

Hey, I asked that question myself!  There are thousands, upon thousands of cigars to choose from... ...how are you supposed to just blindly yank one off the shelf and light it up and expect success?  Well, you might get lucky, but... ... there is an easier way.

The men and women that work behind the counter at you local tobacco shop should be considered to be exerts in the field of tobacco and tobacco products.  They have more experience with cigars than most people will obtain in a lifetime.  Use these people!  Ask them questions about cigar brands, flavors, and especially what experience you want from you cigar!

These men and women are SAINTS in their field.  A good tobacconist will WANT you to have the best experience with your cigar.  They will work with your budget to get you the best cigar that you can afford.

WHY?

Because they want you to come back... ...DUH!

Here are a few questions to ask your tobacconist to help the novice cigar smoker

  • What's your favorite cigar?

  • What size of cigar do you smoke?

  • How long does that smoke for?

  • Do you consider that cigar Bold and Robust or Mild and Mellow?

There are more questions to ask, of course but that will get you on you way!
